Its offical.
A 600 yard BR match will be run at Lyndhurst Rifle Range (near Cowra NSW) on Sunday the 8th June.
This match will be run over four targets for the day.
All welcome from old stagers to novices, target rifles are not a requirement, you can have fun with any rifle at 600.
If you always wanted to know if you could do this, then is a great chance to find out. Or just see what you and your rifle are capable of, I garantee you will be suprised at the results.
I will post more info later this week.
Anyone interested ????

cheers
Rinso

mick204,
You can shoot it with your air rifle if you like mate.
No reason why you can't use a 204 the main thing is to have some fun.

cheers

Hi Macca,

The 600 is shot for group and score. Score is out of 220 and a group agg of your four targets of the day.

As JR has said it is a real credit to the guys who have got this off the ground, good luck to all. I know you will enjoy it and be planning more matches in no time :D

Yes mate you can just turn up .. looking at an 8.30 - 9am start. As Albow said it will be group agg and score based on a 4 target match.
I will post some options for overnire accomodation in the next few days for anyone that may need it.

G'day Rinso, I'll do my best to get there. It will be a good opportunity to see how this BR game works. I'll bring one of my varmint rifles and see if I can organize some gear. Will there be a factory/sporter class?

I should ask first, what requirements do you need to shoot at the Lyndhurst range on the day? Do you need to be a member of the nswra or ssaa?

Cheers,
Whitty

trevort,

Its about 2 & 1/2 hours from Canberra does that help .. ???

whitty,
Will only be a LG & HG this time around so varmit rifles will fall in LG.
A shooters license is all you will need.
Gear wise you will need a rifle, scope, ammo and a bi pod or benchrest. I would recommend a rear bag but a sock full of sand is enough for that.
