Next week I may not be coming to the RF fly at Leeton. I went out today to sight the Annie in for 200 mtrs and I can't get anymore elevation than 175 mtrs.
Do you have something that would remedy the situation?
Does anyone have any ideas before next Saturday?
If I can't get it fixed I'll still be coming to the 300 on Sunday.
And anybody that was going to camp here is still welcome.
PS I've posted this thread in Clancys forum aswell.
Tapered mounts for RF for the Leeton shoot?

Knackers
I have a B-Square made tappered adaptor that is made to fit a 3/8 dovetail, and take Weaver type rings.
Not sure if it will suit your Anshultz, but may be worth a try
Heres a few photos of it
I'll post it to you in an Express bag tomorrow if you PM your address.
Cheers

G'day Spinna, soory for the delay in posting, I loked at the otrher thread under "Clancys gunsmithing" and forgot to come back to this thread.
Mate thanks very much for the offer, thats very generous and trusting of you. I didnt end up going to the Leeton shoot, but I will track down some info on that "B-Square" mount you have shown in your post and get one if it all fits honky dory.

No worries
If you would like to try it on your rifle, then I'm happy to send it to you
I have no use for it, so it can go to a good home if it is any good to you
Cheers

Well if you dont have a use for it I would be happy to try it out for you. Thanks very much Spinna, I'll PM my address.
BTW where abouts in Darwin are you camped, I spent several years in Wagaman, my old man would drive me out to Howard swamp every weekend to hunt pigs, buff, and magpie geese, the population was about 45,000 then. It was gods own country for a boy to grow up in.
