Wel Trevor I went out when the wind dropped off to nothing this arvo.
I set up a fly target at 300 metres and startd to shoot some groups, with the .223 CZ classic.
The first three shots were to get the scope adjusted ( SEE TARGET) and then I shot a five shot group. The five shoots went into a 2.891 group, which made me happy because that is still under "MOA" at 300 metres and three of the shoots measured .892, and that was with a 8x40 Tassco scope. I was very impressed.
I will put my Xmas present Weaver 6-20x40 on the .223 when I get the rings lapped and will try and tighten those groups and get them on the fly. .

Sorry Trevor that was a bad choice of words so I deleted the " bring it on" statement.
I had a few sherberts last night. 8)
What I really ment to say was, "hurry up, April for the Leeton shoot".
I will frigg around with my 250, but I'm pretty sure that I will use my .223.

Knackers, no offence was taken, friendly banter is all good. I actually sent you a rev up pm the other night but glad your slow to check them as I was able to delete it in the morning before you read it!

The only thing that I'm worried about at Leeton is a good shot like you with a factory rifle making me look stupid with my $$$$$ custom rifle! Last year with my 6mm I had to hold off the target some times when the 6.5x 284 shooters had to just hold off one or two target rings. thats gotta make it easier, I hope!

The wind is gunner screw me, thats if it is windy, around April/May the days are very still around these parts usually, so I have my fingers crossed
