How many of you girls are coming to Canberra for the biggest shoot of the year. Kenny and his new shooting partner Anthony and myself will be there. No excuses Rinso. Fitted a new Krieger LV to the Bat and am itching to try it in competition. Looks promising while breaking in the barrel last weekend.

AI,
I will probably be using BM2 and Fed205ms. Have 10kgs of BM2 and 10,000 fed primers. I have shot 2219 and its a good powder but I like a case full of BM2. I have a spare Stolle if Kennys young bloke doesn't want to shoot it.

G'Day steve,
can't get the time off work, there is just not enough troops to run the show without guys on overtime over the holidays.
I'll try to make some of the NSW shoots later in the year.......
Good luck to all

steven,
Mate I will be holidaying in Qld .. so while your shooting I will be fishing and knocking back cold ones.
I wanted to go to the shoot but the school hols is the only chance to get the family away .. so maybe next year. I am trying to get to a few Silverdale shoots this year if work co operates.
Now a question for you and your girlfriend .. are we likely to see any Tamworth shooters at the 600 postal shoot ???? I am lining a shoot up at Lyndhurst in May probably the 11th ... will then look at a couple of 1000yd matches as well you keen ????
Can you talk to Mark Tallar and let him know I am sure Mitchell will be in it .. or give me his contact info so I can chase him up.
cheers
Rinso
ps Any Forum members wanting to have a lash feel free to get in touch .. we are more than happy to have a factory class if we get enough shooters. You can shoot your varmit rifles and we will not leave you posted, plenty of help on the day.

Stevo,
I thought you were joking about the Stolle
......I think I best reserve it for the brat then...sorry Trev
I tell ya what...I hope my new shooting partner's attitude improves A LOT before aussie day....or he WON'T be goin'
jeezus he must think it's christmas or sumtin
Rinso,
I won't commit just yet, it's all a bit up in the air at present as I may not have a job shortly....due to a restructure my 'box' is not there anymore...so a redundancy will see me doing something else...well I hope so
hmmm an importer having everything 'nice' on the shelf is appealing
I am trying to get Townsville in my diary as well.......bloody hell
I am still deciding on a new light gun tube........
I think I will get both calibers so I haven't got to choose between them
And the more reamers on the shelf the better hey
AI & Shane
Will see you both there......jeez I can see a group photo already...all you blokes standing beside me and MY trophy
Have a safe and relaxing Chrissie to all

Rinso,
Ugly step sister not girlfriend...now have an ugly step nephew to shoot with....will have to think about your 600yd shoot...will be itchin for a shot by then I hope....no major shoots between February and July.
Kenny,
The Stolle is there if you want to borrow it....I will throw in a set of wilson dies....you can use the Hart barrel...just need to clean it after each yardage.

steven,
Sorry mate, my bad. I just thought that all you hill billies married family .. thus step-sister/girlfriend all the same.
The 600yd format will be for 4 targets and 5 shot groups. It will be shot for score and group the same as 1000yd.
If this pans out and I get enough interest I will look at running 1000yd matches and where possible 2 day shoots comprising 600yd and 1000yd on consecutive days.
Camping at the range is available including showers etc which means it wont cost the earth to attend ....
The big question is how many of you good ole boys are keen to play ?????
cheers
Rinso

I'll be there from the 14th to the 20th for silhouette shot.
I'm still young enough to shoot standing up.
Only stirring you guys sound like you have as much fun as we do.

shame you won't be there, I reckon we will all bump into each other eventally. Jeez you sillo' shooters must do it tough there, it's hard enough sitting at a bench.
We fool about a bit....but when the shooting starts..it's serious stuff...for most anyway, some shooters seem to play for sheep stations...
Looking forward to seeing AI frantically searching for his bolt.....

Hmmm.. as a matter of fact I know where there is another bolt for my PPC.... so it appears Shane will be searching for that bolt!
Looking forward to this shoot..... should be interesting to say the least!
How much 2219 should I put in behind those 68 Barts?
Cheers

AI,
My load with 2219 is 29gns....but that is with moly coated 67gn projectiles.... 2219 is about half way between BM1 & BM2....start a grain lower and see how it goes.

Sheep stations? Didn't know there was one up for grabs. Then again, with the price of stock these days who'd want one. However, perhaps the Para boys will come over and try to bring one home.
By the way, didn't I read where you won a couple of the aggregates last year?

Hmmm...AR2219 you reckon. Is that a good 'wind cutting' load? Did you use that load at the Madden?
