I like it JR, it sounds good. I will speak to the guys down here and see what they think.
Do you know what day in may? From our end we cannot do it on the 1st weekend as its the vic fly champs and the 3rd weekend is the wagga 2day LV/HV bench match. Not saying you have to work around us just letting you know what we have available.
cheers,
Shane

aJR,
Sounds like a plan mate .. he's a clever bloke that Goodridge fella .. I will see if I can a shoot happening around here ... any forum members in the area let me know if your keen.
Just a thought on dates a lot of postal matches are shot over a period of time, maybe it is easier to pick a month ie May and all matches in the postal must be shot in May. This would be easier than having to arrange a single day for everyone, its not as if the conditions are going to be the same at every venue anyway.
Jeff .. how much for targets ????
cheers

mate, it does not worry me when the proposed shoots are held.
my original thought was just to try the 600yd br events and to maybe generate some interest on a local level.
purely for fun , interest , experience and enjoyment !!!
cheers

aJR,
Should we make you and Tony shoot somewhere further south ... you know there is never any wind in TSV and thats an unfair advantage
.. or maybe we could handicap you TSV blokes .. you know add 3 inches for wind to all your groups
cheers

Might not be any wind( Huh?), but if there isn't, the mirage will wash you away quicker than Niagara falls after a heavy winter...

Hi JR
Sounds like a good idea for the rest of Oz to join in. Once they have had a crack at it there will be no turning back for them
Actually I can see the blokes from down south bustin at the chops to get up here for the Ironman to have another go!

Blackpete, you'd even compete if you had to use the 416AS, and you'd bloody enjoy it!
Thanks for today, a good yarn was had by all...

JR
Are you going to run a factory class like we did up here in Townsville when we first kicked off last year?
I just thought it may also allow / encourage the guys who missed the fly postal for varmint guns a chance to also have a go in this postal comp. Quite a few seemed pretty keen to have a go and were disappointed they did not know about the fly postal.
Just a thought to try and get more shooters involved.
