Don't tell anybody!
when I was in the gunshop this arvo picking up the 416AS, I caught
TZ finalising the paperwork on a Walther rimfire action; so don't believe him if he posts that he is giving up shooting rimfire target events..., but I didn't post this thread either...

Well since all my bestest buddies have let the cat out.....
Our good old mate to many on this forum Tommy the headbutter Hodgson and i have had a chat recently and it looks like the good old glory days of BR50 are about to be reserected in a new form called RBA. Also the Innisfail 300 Hunterclass match is looking like a definite goer next year. Not only did i steal a Walther action from a local, Peter van Chequebook sold me a Lilja tight bore rimfire barrel. A new stock like the one i have kept hidden from Kenny and others is going to be milled in the Xmas break and hopefully the thing will be together for the wet seaon rains to do some serious testing in.
The match in Innisfail will be registered, but the 300 yds may not be part of the registration as we have only the targets i had printed years back and are not an official SSAA Hunterclass target and therefore not eligible for registration inclusion. But Tommy is working on that i believe.

Can anyone supply results and equipment lists or links to RBA information as to who or what is doing what?

Both JR and i have done work with cases that are very similar in case capacity. We had a good run with them for a few years. 2209 was the best in both instances aswell as the 162 Amax and 168 SMK at around 3100 fps in 10 twist Maddcos.
