Harry Madden LV HV 2007

I hear that the Harry Madden benchrest shoot was a very trying affair at 200 yards this year. Constant wind shifts and the occasional shower of rain played havoc with trying to get small groups.
I understand that Michael Heubner won light varmint, Stuart Elliott won heavy varmint, and in the 2 gun overall it was Stuart 1st, Michael 2nd and Brendan Atkinson 3rd.
I also heard that Peter Van Meurs ran away with the fly shoot and won shooter of the year for LG.

From what I hear your pretty spot on there Jimbo.....but my source tells me the conditions were no where near that polite
he simply mumbled - "effin effin wind.... the effin prick....effin bastard......effin hopeless...effin givin up....effin effin wind.....eff it !!!!! and that was just for the 100yds

Bring cash to Canberra for the Australia Day matches then. The conditions here usually encourage fire sales. You might even have some luck in the big hopper.
