Can anyone recommend which comp/events are likely to be most beneficial for improving hunting accuracy? In the Sydney areas if possible..
Cheers.
Cheers.
Yep, what Dave said. If I can tear myself away from Bathurst, I will shoot the rimfire match on Sunday......... dunno though!dg wrote:SSAA rimfire and centrefire field rifle disciplines also will improve typical bush shooting skills.
ie rapid fire, off hand, standing and sitting post etc.
rimfire r/f and o/h are shot at 25 yards/metres.
st/post and sit/post at 50 yards/metres.
centrefire r/f -25 yards
o/hand 50 yards
stand post -100 yards
sit post - 200 yards
all good fun, with the added bonus of confirming or indicating the need to improve rifle accuracy or shooter skills.
cheers

yeah , Camel is right about Bathurst being the car race. As far as his other comment re existing rather than loving, well let's just say his neck of the woods can't boast for much, either!Camel wrote:Sometime shooter, I think Curan was talking about tearing himself away from watching the race on telly. He lives in South Australia, or should I say "Exists"

Red bit......... Spell check mate, or are you that desperate. Plenty of free loving up this neck of the woods. Just ask my dogs.
