It was bloody interesting to watch all of this happen from about 6 feet away; down in the butts!

well done on the group.
yes Woob the butts are very interesting. watched four shots come in on the 1000yd within a few inches in the blue and we (the 2 on my target detail) are holding our fingers crossed for the guy when we feel the wind change and the fifth shot blows the group

Great demo as to why you work so hard on getting rid if the 'vertical' Jeff and it really does demonstrate how important reading wind is.
All this target shooting talk is getting me interested in the long range shoots all over again.

Target 8, last detail of the morning shooters by any chance?

Not the first time I've done it either. Seems to be a recurring problem I have with that last shot, sometimes 2. I'm putting it down to bench technique and getting lazy or something on the last shot.
One day I'll put it all together.
