i wonder if that will mess a tiny bit with you minute of angle clicks at differnt ranges being that the angle in degrees will change ever so slightly cos of the line of sight isn't exactly co alighned with the bore. lett us no how it goes. brilliant idea though.
i tried somthing similiar but changed the stock insteat of the mounts so that my cheek would sit and rest further in
