I see Sierra has made a 95grain 6mm Matchking, with an estimated BC of 0.500. All you 10 twist 6mm shooters should enjoy this one as it will offer a heavy match projectile.
I will try these in the Dasher when they become available.
Cheers

Yes, wonder when we'll see them? Should go well in the 243 & get some good speed in the 6br.

how does the BC of the 90 Lapua compare with the BC of the 87 V-max??
If it's close or higher I'd like to give them a go in my 1:10 twist
Thanks

AI,
Without going to the gun room 2 or 300 of the 90 grn Sencars, they are right next to the 105 grn Sencars on the shelf.
They are for the 6 x 47 Lapua mate ...
Stolle Panda
Lilga 3 groove barrel 1-8
Jewell BR trigger
Shilen BR stock
Kelby rings & mounts on 20MOA rail
Weaver T36
It will be a light gun, although I do have a 1-8 twist 6mm barrel for the HG in the cupboard maybe I will have that chambered in 6x47 as well.
cheers

Rinso... Piss off... the 6mm's are my territory... Welcome to the club!!!
I think I'll give the Scenars a miss and wait for the the 95MK's to become available. With a BC around the 0.500 mark they should be a good projectile, specially if you have a 10 twist 6mm barrel!
The Lawton is not to far away now.. went for a Shehane ST-BR stock with it!
Those 90 scenars will be hooting out of the 6X47L!

What has happened to the .600 BC 117 grain SMK in six mil? Gone all quiet in the US with these. Maybe the twist rate required to stabilise these was too fast with many non arrivers at the target leaving Sierra no option but to pull the plug.

Yes good question... what did happen to the 117MK's? It was going to be the projectile of choice for the 6X47L shooters, but it looks as if it has faded out. I know with other 6mm projectiles in that range that a lot of people went back to the 105/107 range after trying the heavier 115/117 weight range.
Twist rate would be fast, they might not like to be driven fast which leads the 105/107 to be no lesser projectile on target.
Its just plan out disappeared?
DO you know if it was to be marketed as a Sierra bullet, or Sierra making it for someone else? The answer might be there?
Cheers
