6mm of choice for 1000ydBR
Anyone campaigning a 6 dasher or similar at 1000yds? What is your projectile of choice? Copperheads are not available at the moment. Berger hybrids Im shooting now for F class and while they are good for that, they leave a bit to be desired in terms of consistency in weight and bearing surface length for benchrest shooting. Was thinking maybe the 108gr BT as its the next best thing available BC wise. Or I risk another batch of hybrids and see how they go. First lot were fat at the pressure ring, next lot skinny. First lot shot ok at a jump, next lot need jamming and arent as good... just not that confident in them!

While I have been using Hybrids in mine, I have run out of one lot and heard bad things about some new lots. It seems the majority of long range BR shooters prefer the VLDs over the hybrids, saying they are much more consistent. What is this about the Copperheads not available? Some of my barrels love them and I am running low.

Damn. Not what I needed to hear. I just bought 500 more hybrids - hope they aren't one of the poorer batches. The first lot I bought were excellent, very similar to the Copperheads.

Re: 6mm of choice for 1000ydBR
My current ones are lot 6111- only have 80 odd left. I played with 200 of them around my old loads before I found they needed a jam. Last 900m f class I had 4 shots in the X that were an awesome cluster- then the mirage cranked up back and forth and I lost a few shots either side. Maybe Ive got them sorted out, but with 80 left thats not worth bugger all. Not sure where I read copperheads were in short supply- maybe ozfclass not sure. Looking forward to the new shape 107 sierras coming. They are supposed to be very good with the meplats pointed from factory and supposed to be very consistent. Will be $$$ though.
