I have moved less then 20kms to Hilltop and wondering about the range:

What is shot there, are they still expanding it whens it open is it SSAA or not? etc etc

any info would be great thanks!

I know they were shooting Military service there and I am pretty sure they shoot fullbore as well.

Last I heard on the expansion there had been some local protests and no progress.

I can do you a deal on a Mauser 308 for Mil service will shoot master grade scores if you point right.

Hahaha Thanks mate I was just wondering what the go was with it and if I can go there and casually shoot! Metallic silhouette is more my thing anyways

I know that there was a silhouette shot there 2 weeks ago.

The Southern Highlands Branch of the SSAA shoot a number of disciplines at the Hill Top bigbore range, Moss Vale smallbore range and Bowral Pistol Club.

I'm a member of the SHRC , Southern Highlands Rifle Club . We have been at the hill top range for the past 20 years ( it was " our" range until the new southern highlands regional shooting complex started up ) . We have an 800 meter range and shoot everything from field class rimfire / centerfire , martini cadet, rimfire silhouette, full bore, F standard and F open. All 7 clubs that are part of the new range complex are good people and the availability of shooting disciplines will only get better and better as the new complex is built.
