Good to see the cap Dave,
Maybe it should be the colour of last years' winners? Might be able to start something similar to State of Origin in shooting?
No doubt you are organising some of the great weather like we had last year, cleaning the frost out of the bareel between shots is always fun.

If its the same as the footy up here, where you first shot, that might make you a Cane Toad Jack. Either that or you will need some long distant memory of shooting paper while you were younger and still in Vic.

jack
mate, it would be good to see you in june. try and talk that "jacko" and tyson (and anyone else who would be interested in attending) into coming as well.
jeff
" touch wood" the weather lately has been mild and calm with no sign of a 'frost' or rain.
soooo, i shall restrain from making any june predictions.
we have not decided on next years SCC theme colours, but "canberra colours" would have to favourite
if the SCC continues to be supported by the LRBR community, in future years south australia and western australia will both be guaranteed a guernsey, in terms of being honoured with their state theme colours.
speaking of western australia, you have to admire brad yates and his clubmates for their extremely successful efforts in introducing and expanding interest in IBS 1000yd BR.
brad will expand on this but, the Busselton Club deserve an organisational

No Rain, - probably just means snow instead!!!
Nearly packed up here, worst case, I can make a camp fire out of Jack's targets to keep warm.
As long as we see some sun it will be ok.
Dave, I will bring those targets for you as well. You haven't told us what the entry fee is for this year yet either, will I need to sell a kidney?
Looking forward to seeing all and sundry.
Jeff

if all stays the same, at the moment the situation for the SCC is:-
Heavy Gun International class - 8 shooters
Light Gun International - 19 shooters
JC trophy 308/223 International - 3 shooters (1 townsville+ 2 victorian competitors)
Light Gun Standard - 7 shooters
Std 308 - 3 shooters
as far as the entry fee goes, as long as we go close to covering the $2000 worth of prizes and goodies, the club will be fairly happy.
have a safe trip
BTW, anyone who shoots either side of jack, won't have to pay any entry fee, the club will fix up the tab !!!
cheers

tracey and paul
compared to down south, not that bad here at the moment.
3 -18 degrees roughly for the weekend, with moderate breezes.
SCC competitors have been arriving during the day and are gradually taking over the Airport cabins/caravan park.
Hopefully, thursday/friday should provide reasonable weather and conditions for those who are sighting/developing/adjusting loads/aligning flags etc.
cheers
