thanks again to the canberra members and crew who continue to organise very relaxed, sociable and interesting 1000yd events.

despite a small delay to wait for the wind to disperse the fog, the shoot was run and completed by approx 1.30 pm.

given the typical canberra pulsing breezes ( approx 2-10 knots NW), those of us who shot first, certainly had the better conditions.

shooters in the second session, began with the nw winds which then turned quickly and ran from the south or sw during their second targets, which appeared to contribute to quite noticeable "vertical".

thankyou to mick and anyone else who has assisted in establishing the new canberra 1000yd br / fclass website.

i am sure that there are many interested parties who applaud and appreciate the effort, design, presentation, foresight and planning involved in this task.

the next scheduled 1000yd event is the weekend of the september flyshoot.
