Out shot by TYB again

The young bloke and myself spent the weekend at the NSW state lever action silhouette champs.
Missed the rifle calibre match last weekend but shot both the small bore (22) and pistol calibre events this weekend.
Small bore was Sat and after 80 shots I was tied for 1st in my grade and Mitch was also tied for 1st in his grade. Nerves got the better of me and I showed him exactly how not to shoot a shoot off still not a bad day when you can loose and still come home with a silver medal. Mitch must have been paying attention and shot the best he had all day to win his. His score was also good enough for 3rd junior and to see him jump up a grade.
Today there were no shoot offs in the pistol calibre event, Mitch blitzed it winning his grade by a long way while I managed a 2nd in mine, his score saw him bumped up a grade, was good enough to win junior champion and finish in the top 10 over all.
Not a bad effort considering it is only the second time he has shot the match, the first time being 7 months ago and he hadn't even picked up the rifle since.
So 2 matches for him and he come home with 3 gold, 1 bronze and a state tittle to his name, think its time he started loading the bloody ammo and giving his father a few shooting tips instead of the other way around
