Over four days of competition participants will take part in a variety of (ACTA) Clay Target events. This shooting discipline will be hosted by the Alice Springs Clay Target Club off the Ross Highway.

If you plan to come then book your accommodation as early as possible as it gets very full prior and during the games. I'll be at the pistol club if anyone comes into town for the games and would be pleased to meet and shake your hand.

That's the beauty of living in the centre .... everything is just up the road from here. :lol:
It's interesting to note about how where you live and your interests influences your perception of distances. When I lived in Brisvegas it was "normal" to drive up north to Hervey Bay for fishing, drove Brisbane to Noosa everyday for work, moved to Tassie and would head to the lakes for trout but would complain if I had to drive to Hobart (both distance and because it was HOBART after all). Moved to Uluru and would drive to Alice just for shopping (1000 k's 4.5 hrs each way) now living in Alice and it's the same, drive for hours to go somewhere.

Anyway BOT. Hope you make the trip and shoot in the games regardless of what discipline you enter.
