Why?

Why do we do it?

Why do we put ourselves through the mental and physical torture to put little holes in bits of paper?

I have been in rifle clubs since 1978. I still can't get it right.

I still front to the range and try again.

Is it me? Am I just stupid? Or just nucking futs?

(Yes I am in a frustrating form slump, as well as getting old).

If the challenge wasn't there we wouldn't do it. Each week you think you might have found the key to that better result and go back next week to find there's more to learn.

It's both shooting against yourself and others which is why it's so addictive.

Don't forget "Mother Nature" in there as well, too long in the sights on aim to see a wind change will definitely ruin your day too !!!

So the consensus is "Nucking Futs" then.

(I was kinda leaning that way myself)
