Last 2012 Matches

Hi All

The weekend just gone saw the last of the LR matches for 2012 in Townsville.

Both days were pretty tough with exceptional mirage and switching winds that made shooting small groups and high scores pretty tough although some of the guys seemed to manage not too bad.

Well done to Trev on the 1000yd aggs in LG and it was good to see Russell back after a fairly lengthy absence and able to take out second place for score agg at the 1000yd.

The new calendar for 2013 is in draft and once it is locked in all dates for Townsville will be placed up on the forum for anyone that wants to travel and shoot with us. Again for 2013 we will be trying to have as many weekends as possible with the 550yd BR on Saturday morning and 1000yd BR on Sunday afternoon. In addition we will be having our Ironman competition again as a three day shoot.

There were a number of records set this year again which I will update in the near future when posting our aggregates for the year.

Less than 3 days after the last match and the work has already started to come up with that better mouse trap for the new year and I would expect that the competition will only continue to get tougher.
