Townsville 1000yd Match- 7 October 2012

Hi All

Results are up from yesterday's 1000yd match in Townsville.

As far as the day went, conditions were pretty tough with a good 12" of mirage on the target and the pits having to call the location of the spotter for the shooter because you couldn't make out where it was on the target through the mirage.

Trevor Armstrong performed very well in the LG class to win for both score and group and JR had a win in HG.

New shooter Dave G had his first go at 1000yd BR and is lining up to come back next month.

November will be the last match for the year and the final postal for 2012.

Hi Albow , Thanks for running another great 1000 yd match , i assure you your time and efforts are appreciated by all the guys .. If one thing became more obvious to me Sunday was that without a good gun the available and less than desirable conditions we see from time to time make trying to do good at the sport about 100% harder .. The new barrel in my gun this year would be best belonging to someone else as it has been a pain in the arse since the 1st shot , i can think of someone i would like to give it to but i better keep that to my self .. Anyhoo , two new barrels are on the way ,just hoping for a change in luck..JR.. Jeff Rogers .. ps super to see more new guys
