Townsville 1000yd Match- 1 July 2012

Post by albow »

Hi All

Results from yesterdays 1000yd match here in Townsville are now posted.

A number of good groups and scores were shot by a few of the shooters who seemed to be able to find a hole in the conditions that did not look that challenging.

Well done to Jack on his first sub 6" group in HG, Greg H had high score in HG of 97.3 and Eric G had the small group in LG a touch over 5" with a good score of 49 too.

Next 1000yd match in Townsville will be 5th of August and we will be shooting the 550yd BR on the saturday morning before so there will be two days of shooting for traveling shooters.

Well done Jack on that group.
Looks like the conditions were variable.
Still good results.
Congrats to all the shooters.

Hi All , Your spot on Grant , Jacks 5 inch group makes into a very small group of shooters in OZ to get there .. Could not be happier to have my arse kicked by one of our own .. Hope in some way i have been able to help with getting him there as it makes an old benchrester feel good about the progression up here.. You are only as good as the ones that surround you and it looks like Jack will be the one to watch in H/G in the future .. Lets hope now we don't make a cock up of the trip to Narromine in a coupla weeks ,performance wise.. Long way , don't know which direction to go to get there ,straight past our beloved capital ,Brisbane or the inland way .. Think it might be warmer on the coast road so i can ease into the colder conditions .. See you there..JR..Jeff Rogers
