Narromine-Dubbo 2012 1000yd BR Match Dates

N-D 1000yd BR matches for 2012 have been scheduled for the following dates.

sunday 1st april
sunday 27th may
sunday 22nd july
sunday 16th september
sunday 11th november

Note that, on the saturday of these weekends, the Club will hold their regular 1000yd F Class and Target Rifle events.

although NRAA targets are used on the saturday,those who wish to check their sighting or shoot from a bench for practise purposes are most welcome to do so on the day.

Note also, that to assist catering and general organisation, prior nomination is a necessity for the 1000yd BR matches.

A Rules Structure based on commonsense and equity will continue to be enforced at N-D for the 2012 1000yd BR matches.

ie. IBS rules/rifle specifications/shooting of record target (blind shooting only) for the International Classes.
LG weight maximum 17 lbs
HG unlimited

Standard Class competitors (all shots marked and shown on the record target) are free to use their F Class rifles and bipods if they wish.
LG weight limit 10kg
HG unlimited weight

Muzzle brakes are permissible in all classes.

Competitors @ N-D, have the choice of entering International classes ( LG and HG), Standard classes ( LG and HG)
and the JC Trophy ( International and Standard) for 308 and 223 calibres.

Recognition and prizes are provided for all categories.

As in previous years, competitors who elect to shoot in the International classes, will have their results automatically entered in the International 1000yd BR Postal Matches with the USA and the BJD Trophy (for 308/223).

Entry fees for the 2012 1000yd BR matches will be $20, which includes the BBQ lunch and the provision/emailing of target photos for all in attendance.
