Hi NH , Burris mini , leupold hunter , sightron , weaver t6 and Lyman. All 6pwrs with AO and Target turrets, most will have a dot. I dont really like the dot in my 6pwrs so i got a Burris mini, im after a old lyman they too have ultra fine cross hairs. The sightron i had had no Dot but the cross hairs were way to thick for my likeing. Cheers Ron

Damien it sounds like someone has a lightgun :) ,mate I have had a sightron(crosshairs to thick),Leupold dot(dot to big,1/4) and settled on the weaver grandslam 6.5x20 with the eighth dot which was/is perfect. The only problem was when I changed rifles the weight became a drama so I dicked around and ended up with 3X9X33 efr,perfect.............admittedly it has 1/4 clicks and totally uncool std turrents but at 11oz and a fine duplex it works a treat and the 1/4 clicks once you get your head around the fact are pretty bloody good.

Regards Chris.

NH , try target solutions in WA , im pretty sure he still list a burris mini 2nd $275. They are a great scope i have one on my factory sporter. I have a weaver T6 on my custom sporter, I have an Older steel bodied T6 weaver on my old sporter. Cheers Ron

Native,
I’ve had the T6 Weaver and I’m using the Leopold 6 power competition series at the moment, but when I change barrels next time on my sporter I’ll be leaving enough weight to use a 2.5 – 25 March.

Regardless of what anyone likes after you shoot them for a while it really comes down to what your eyes will put up with and that is why I’m going to the March. But my 2nd choice would be the 4.5 – 14 LR Leopold with the 30mm tube, theses 2 scopes only have ¼” clicks but for Hunter and group matches it doesn’t really matter, if you want it for RBA size targets then you’ll need the 1/8” clicks or learn to hold off.

Peter,
I like the sound of the march as I love the one I have but I didnt even consider them as I thought weight would have put them out of reach.??
Just checking march site now.!!

G"day,
The march at 610grms is within the weight but 1/4 Moa click value is a problem.!!

Native,
If you are looking for something for the RBA sporter and 2015 WC look at the 5 - 32 March that class is 8 1/2lbs so weight is not a problem and you could use the same gun for 10 1/2 class. But for SSAA type sporter matches I would not notice if a scope had 1/8 or 1/4 clicks.

Have a look at the Nikon Buckmaster 6-18x with side focus, 1/8 target turrets and either fine crosshsir, 1/8 target dot or I think mildot.
