Wagga 500m Range Progress PHOTOS - (pic heavy)
Gudday to all.
Just a bit of an update re our range progress to 500m. The D8 started last Monday and worked through to Thurday. Estimated that he has moved over 4000m3 of dirt/rock. The Dozer resumed today at 7am as there is still some 2 foot to come off a lump from about 400 to 450 yard mark. This area has turned out to be rock and is taking some serious ripping by the dozer to move. Additionally the 500m mound ended up about 497m so it is being pushed back as we speak.
The blue healer has just about finished making the target frames. Its going to be tight but marring any dramas with the dozer we should get there by the time our shoot comes around.
Heres a few photos of the progress.
Cheers

well done guys, its great to see clubs moving forward and developing. The whole of your club deserves a big pat on the back for the work you have all put in.
Them flys need to be very scared up your way

The Blue Heeler tells me the earth works are done and they just have to stand the the frames for the targets so its looking pretty good, Chop.

+1 on the earlier comments - looks fantastic and great to see the sport growing. Looks like a really nice bush setting. I look forward to having a shot there in the future.

Ill be chatting to the blue heeler tomorrow. If he gets the frames up Id say its a goer however it has been pissing down all day here so things may be a little boggy up at 500m at the moment. Watch this space tomorrow night!!!Ackley Improved wrote:Yeah, this is a real good thing.... it will now be my home range. Rather drive an hour to Wagga than go to my local! Sweet!
