Electronic target in use there - can you tell us a bit about that ?

Dave , I hope your not his boss! He was in attendance, came second in Target rifle 300 mtrs, and was handicap champion. Ps i think you mean Robert McCann. He's a pretty good shot and is on the podium quite regularly.

Sam, the club bought the electronic targets this year, we had a few teething problems with missed shots but this has now been sorted and the targets are proving to be very reliable we had a couple of missed shots on Saturday which turned out to be cross fires { not mine }. We have used them out to 1000 mtrs no problem. When they were first installed some of use were a little worried about loosing the social aspect of scoring, but this has not happened, Shoots run very smoothly and we get through 2 applications quite quickly, there are usually 20 to 25 regular competitors but we have had as many as 33 which were handled easily with our 3 targets. I'm not 100% sure but i think they cost the club around the $40,000.00 each mark

i am not his boss, but now i am worried that i have drawn attention to his saturday activities! :oops:

any photos of the down range view from the firing point and other range facilities?
