Yep well done to you and the others...top result for Native,Chris I bet it didn't seem that much fun whilst competing but now that you look back it was a great experience,As you said it's great to put faces to names and you beat some pretty well known shooters,so much depends on how, what, when in that 30min's hey.
Chris did you see some periods during other details and think..............Jeez I wish I was in that detail instead of the one you were?..
..........................................damn that wind machine.
Regards Chris.

Yer I was sitting back watching abit and thinkn I would love to be shootn now.. But ive got good gear and im happy with how my gun shot, it was just the shooter who couldnt read the wind at times. Had a great time and learnt alot from it, Im very happy with how I went for my First Nationals.

G"day All,
As Chris said it was a great two days, some very tough shooting, the company was excellent and the venue a credit to the SSAA.!!
I got a chance to shoot over some probes and I will be definitely putting a few together, they supplemented the flags nicely.
They dont tell you much about direction but they do tell you when and when not to shoot.
It was good to rub shoulders with some AV members and share a few cold ones.
The Rimfire bug has bitten bad now and I cant wait to shoot at coffs six club IRB in two weeks.
Chris was unlucky today and the conditions sent plenty of shooters crashin to the ground, I was lucky I found a condition in the wind and just waited and shot nearly all my shots on that condition as it returned and left.
I reckon there must have been 10 grand worth the flags on the range,it was just a sea of green and orange, some lanes it was just ridiculous the amount of flags that were out.
Ive just unpacked and had a tub and im ready for bed.
Good luck to the group shooters for the next two days, Im going to say, the light gun will go to Bill, brett or Rob and the heavy to ????????MITCHELL.!!!
Mitchell really has a big future ahead of him and I looked on his targets while he was shooting and its amazing to see how he reads the conditions and drives that pill down the guts.!!
Silverdale next feb.!!!
Regards
