Re: Queensland Cup.
G'day All,
Well I just got home and sat down to the computer thinking about how it all went and I can say the first day was a great day for me but this morn was a disapointment.!!
The 120 shot match was broken into 3 sections with 60 continuos shots on saturday and two 30 shot matches this morn.
1 shot separated first from fourth on saturday,598.45,597.45,597.45,597.40.!!
I was just unlucky to get the fourth position.!!:-((.
sunday morning we awoke to a screaming wind and the results reflected this.!!
I dropped 9 shots in the first 30 and 7 in the second 30.!!I was left scratchin my head until the second detail shot and the winner from the previous day dropped 10.!
I dont know where I finished in the field today but it definitely was a lesson learnt and shooters stated that was the worse conditions they had encountered there.
Congrats to thomas versace for winning the saturday shoot and Johhny patswald for taking out todays shoot,Well done fella's.!
Great time had by all, the facility at belmont is a credit to the shooting sports,If you've never been there ,its well worth a visit.!!
Oh and why im at it,im not a fan of them electronic targets, aim at one target to land shots on another round non marked rubber target and im sure there was a few shots that landed in the centre but were counted out.!!
Great concept for spectators and shooters to be able to have a screen beside you but I just dont trust the way they print shots.

Re: Queensland Cup.
If ya come down and shoot in Sydney at SISC, you aim and shoot into the electronic targets - no aiming at another mark and shooting into the target disc.
Are ya going to the TRA Nationals?
