Hi Chris,

I'll be there... I understand that they are pretty much full.

There is practice on Friday from 09:00 till 15:00 for anyone that wants to lob in the day before, there is also a BBQ Saturday evening...and yes the wet weather is supposed to hang around right through the weekend....

See you there..

Ok from the top,the weather was not bad...............that depended on what detail you were in as some had pretty crappy conditions,Number were around the thirty something in both classes...................................I think, now how did I go................
..............................................got in the top ten in heavy at fifty.....................a wheel fell of at one hundred and the cart crashed :) .
I used my new light gun on the Sunday and with basically no ammo testing and no tuning I can honestly say the rifle is a keeper, now that we have that sorted I basically shot ...................................................................................................
........................................................................................like a true muppet at both distances and Jim Henson would have been proud of me,the only thing I beat on the weekend was a hasty retreat home.
So Damien thanks for asking about the weekend  ,and as for my shooting I really have lost touch..............or something as I was shooting better a couple of years ago and cant work out why :? .

Hi Chris

Sounds like a tough weekend in the office, but if you have been out of the game for a couple years that can be expected.

I would be interested to know how your scores compared to how you used to shoot a couple years ago, the reason I ask is I believe the standard of competition in BR RF has rision a great deal in the past 3 to 4 years. For example in past years in the WRABF world postal for RF Australian shooting has consistantly improved so that we know have 2 shooters in the top 5 on the world rankings and the Aus "C" team is currently second, from 290 individuals and 23 teams from 10 countries. If your scores are not improving each year you are going backwards.

Any chance you can tell us the top 3 in Heavy and light.

Regards Brett

Brett you are absoooooolutely right about the level of competition improving each season and damn straight if you dont improve you get left behind...
..............................I cant even see the dust these days.
No excuses from me ................................I let my self down with some poor shooting,I set a goal of trying to finish in the top ten at each event and with some of the poor decisions that I make I create a mountain of work for myself.
As for scores,I will have a look as I think I took a pic of the score sheets but in heavy at fifty there was a 4 or 5 way tie of 250.14 and the winner was decided by string line(I had 250.10),at 100 I am unsure.
In the light gun at fifty a 250 something won and at 100 I am unsure.
