Hi all , Any club officials that are involved in 1K Benchrest .. I have been sending new 1K targets to some other clubs from Townsville's stocks to get these guys shoots off the ground , Question what about a bulk purchase from multiple ranges, sent by slow freight to keep the costs down .. Targets are US$1.06 if we collectively bought 500 or so the sea freight would be cheap ,what do ya think.. We will have to get more stocks for next year either way ...JR..Jeff Rogers

Targets are US$1.06 at this price, plus shipping, I'll take 50 for myself. I have a 1000yd practise range in mind, out Cobar way.

Gidday Tony---- Nah--- I visit this property via a club setup, a couple of times a year. At this stage of my life, I fully want to start spending a least a couple of weeks each visit, not just a few days. A few of the club members have expressed interest in the long range shooting disiplines. I had my mate Kenny, accommany me to the last 1000yd shoot and he shot the pants off me with my rifle. Next time I'll load up HIS bullets with "seconds" projectiles

Yes Malcolm , So far we have had interest from the 2 New 1K clubs and We northerners but nothing from the established bigger clubs .. I will contact you when we order for the numbers Etc..JR..Jeff Rogers

Right Guys , I have the info back from the National Target Company in the US .. Bulk freight is approx US$67.50 per 100 targets + $106 for actual targets , with the $ the way it is they should be AUS $175 per 100 .. This beats the last lot we got here by nearly a dollar ea. If i am to get them ,800 or so i am going to need you guys to transfer some $s to my account ,so Muz ,Pest Bird ,DG and Malcolm please PM for details . Delivery is 10 days app..JR..Jeff Rogers

aJR do you have spare 600 yd and 1000 yd target i can buy from you as im thinking of running these events at the Corryong range and as Victoria has no 1000 br range this could be the opportunity to make it so , but will need help and support to do it. cheers Paul D...

the club shoots every saturday, on a rotation between 300m and 1000yds. classes are target rifle and f class std/open.

the scheduled 1000yd BR matches will be the 2nd sunday of may, july, september and november.

just give us a pm or ring beforehand, and i can provide more upto date info.
