You two buggers are talking in brail with all this target related stuff, I cant help at all there. Butttt the ganglion, I had one on the inside of my right wrist and the doc gave it a bash with a book and it disappeared. Hurt like buggery for a short while, but hasn't returned.

Nah mate, funnily enough he was a top cancer surgeon who had had a little bit too much stress in the city and came out bush to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Was a top doc, pity he left.

Yeah- we used to have one we called Dr Death. Only ever saw him wearing black shirt, black pants, and very guant in the face, always riding his pushbike everywhere.
Top fella- and did a pretty good job at stopping me from leaking a few times. Same sorta thing- did a couple of years out west and #kapoof# whisked back to the 'city life'.
And replaced with a uni graduate.

Well, if that doesn't work, old mate, Boxhead, in your avatar would come in handy, or should that be handless.

Re: been to the range.
took the ejector pin out of the bolt today.so it doesnt spit the cases away.
also made a brass pin to fill in the hole and put the split pin back in to hold it there.
now all i need is some range time.
still cant get the sight any closer than 10 clicks right wind to centre it [or where centre of the arm should be].
but if worse comes to it...close enough..

Re: been to the range.
im surprised it isnt snowing at bathurst.
brissy should be warm, not as warm as here but better than down there.
i am hoping to get a bit of sighting in at the range tomorrow, otherwise ill have to get back out in the scrub.
i dont really like shooting in the scrub but kinda have to when i cant get onto someone in the club to go to the range.
not being a club member means i cant get access outside sundays.

Re: been to the range.
Yeah mate came back last Tuesday night and had a few sleet showers whilst out cutting firewood for the Father in law / Boss. They were predicting snow down as low as 900 which means for us snow is possible (back ridge is 1060, and where the house is 960m) We normally get numerous blizzards each year, Is quite pleasant at the moment max's of 15 during the day. Didn't get to shoot a match this weekend either but did get out to test some Loads for my 223. Stole 300 60 grain sierra HP that were old stock from a shop a couple of weeks ago. loaded up 20 from 25.5 to 27.5 of 2208 and wouldn't you know it the 27.5 was the best, first 3 grouped just a bit over .3 and the last round I pushed to the right opening up the group to just on .6 so I think I'll go with that. Load is pretty compressed but being 08 not high pressure either, extracts easy as.

Re: been to the range.
i didnt shoot yesterday either, cant get powder up here.
pissing me right off.
but,i worked the butts.there was only a couple shooters so it wasnt a hard day.
1,2,3,4 and 5's were the general score for everyone.
it was blowing hard and changing direction at a whim.
1 guy set his scope, took the shot, looked up and the flags were blowing in the opposite direction.scored a 2
mega buck guns dont mean shit in conditions like that...
the guy who won the day was using an old omark with peep sites
it was a fun day all up.
