MattP,

Yeppies......I know all about the Canberra breeze after the last Aussie day match  I was just trying not to scare anyone

Big helpfull hint #1.............DON"T leave your gun standing in the rack with any loose objects laying near bye as some frigwit recently did

AI,

I reckon the lil' dasher might just shine if you get a condition to hold for long enough.

Rinso,

After what I hear about you last year down there I reckon you will be the one to watch :D

What class are you all shooting ? Heavy, light or both ?

AI,

Take a cut lunch and plenty of fluids cos you won't have time to shoot 2 guns and do anything else. I remember Vic Sykes a couple of years ago shooting 2 guns and nearly died of dehydration because he never got time to have a break when he shot his 2 guns.

Rinso,

How's the PPC goin?

Kenny,

You coming to Gunnedah this weekend or saving yourself for Tamworth and Sydney. Got the Bat and Stolle finished....just need to shoot them and make sure everything going OK.

steven,

Shane has it doing some work on it. Trying a .269 / .270 neck I will get it at Canberra at this stage and then play from there.

Rinso,

   purrfect conditions for a fly shoot

AI,

I have been tempted to shoot both classes for awhile now, just double the entry fee............it may get a bit hectic like Steven says if only two details are shooting but.

Steven,

I dunno............Gunnedah sounds good as Sundays are to become a sore point in our household....AGAIN .......grrrrrr :x I thought you may have been going to Warwick.......¿

Can you email me with whats on pls as i haven't got a program............might shoot the 30BR :?

G"day All
I will be in canberra on saturday and will hopefully be dropping in for a look and meet a few people, Im not hard to miss- look for the big dark fella with the goatee.(probably like half the shooters.)
I wont be taking a gun, so no shooting for me.
Can some one roughly give me directions if I come in on the barton highway.
what time does it start and finish.??
Regards

native hunter,

Shame you are not shooting .... but not to worry.
Off the Barton hwy (at the T intersection) turn north (left) on Northbourne Ave follow the road until you come to a fairly big roundabout (2 kms or so) go through that roundabout and you come into a 100km zone.
The next exit on the left turn right at the end of the exit (takes you back under the hwy) about 500m past the underpass turn left (dirt track after 50 m) follow up to the 2nd set of gates on the right.

You will get a map on Where is.com.au

Shame you cant get there Friday with a rifle just for practice.
Look us up when you get there

cheers

Mate..

If you want easy directions to the Canberra range... Check out google earth. I had a rough idea.. but now I know the exact where abouts and even which range is used for fly. It is very easy to find!!

Thank god I have been to teh summernats 3 times, so I sort of know the canberra seen. Well I can find Club X anyway!! HA!!
