Maybe separate forums could be created when the numbers warrant it e.g. LR BR (including Fly) could possibly have one of its own now, because I get the impression that currently at least 50% of the Shooting Sports posts are in that category. The remainder could be in a sub-forum called "Other Shooting Sports", and over time, one or two other categories might grow to warrant their own sub-forum. But as the other members above are saying, its quite okay at moment - you can see what the other sports are getting up to.

Personally I can't see how subforums would affect most users. Don't people just have newposts bookmarked & only go to the index when they want to start a topic?

Me I shoot F open and I like all the types of shooting lumped in together so that you tend to read them all rather than just those relevant to your sport
