Good results Lee. Is that an Ultimatum action? I will never pile crap on a 223 in PRS after what i have seen recently. The recovery rate makes up for any BC deficiency. Not to mention they are cheap to run and barrels outlive the owner. A mate has a braked one that shoots like yours. You have to watch very closely to see if it actually has any recoil.

Hi Tony yes it's the version 3 ultimatum u300 action with the savage barrel threads, not rem 700, it's in 223rem with a old border archer 1-7 barrel, made before they moved and JJJ imports stopped bringing them in because he was not impressed with the current accuracy.
if you buy one of those actions buy it in 308 not 223rem as the smith had to cut the magazine lips down because they were hitting the bigger diameter bolt,besides that its a good action.and for $700 from cleavers it's a bargain.
