What a corker of a couple of days. Friday- must of had 40 fellas practising, probably more. Saturday had 75 registered shooters. One gentleman travelled down from Townsville, and there were heaps of "newbies" who also travelled quite a distance. The poor bugger doing the marking had 750 targets to score. The weather was perfect for shooting--- give or take a few gusts of wind, which resulted in some brilliant scores. David Walters shot a 1.2 inch group and being a 10 target comp heaps of Fly's were shot.
Congrats to young Mitchell Taller with 8 flies.
We will have to wait until the scores are posted here on site --- but one little piece of advice--- don't ever pass on your favourite target rifle to a nephew--- there's a pretty good chance he'll whoop ya---------- but that's another story
Cheers Malcolm

Will we be getting the results of the FLY shoot?
I see in the 1000yrd the Light Guns shooting Blind had better groups maybe coz they wern`t chasing shots.

Congratulations to Murry Hicks (HG) and Les Frazer (LG) on their out standing performances. From memory Muz Scored 517.07 and Les 487.06 (third over all).
It was a great day with high scores, lots of laughs and good company.
