G'Day Kenny,
I'll be shooting my LV Hall in SPT/LV/HV. even though LR is my home range, I've not shot a BR match since the Crayfish last year and haven't really dragged the old Hall out for a session for some time. But I plan on shooting/tuning on Monday, a BRT course wednesday and SPT saturday should have me back in the groove for LV/HV.

Just look for a guy with a good beard and answers to Geoff!

The BRT course is unreal, the Elliots do a brilliant job and are nice people to boot, you will enjoy it :D

What ....no BAT.....¿ probably good for me

G'Day kenny,
yeah the BAT was ordered in Nov last year, hopefully I'll hear something in the coming months.....
Nevertheless, I had the Hall out not long ago to get a zero after a barrel change and was holding 6" off to shoot a group at 200 that was roughly 1.6", mind you the rest of the general shooters were lucky to keep them around 2" at 100. I had to hammer the flag poles back into the earth half way throught the day! However, I've only seen wind that bad once before at LR! Generally the wind regardless of strength, is very consistent but let ups and pick ups will get you as they will anywhere.

Ned,

Ohhh the BAT is one of 'those' guns......dang frustrating hey

There has been a few blokes on the benchrest forum giving weather reports about LR, I think they were trying to scare people  Sounds like the range is very 'sporting'
I dont mind shooting in 'pick ups' and 'let offs' and at times being brave and holding has worked well for me ......then again I have been burnt badly by it too

It will be a new experience for me as I have never been any further south than Albury so could turn into a bit of an adventure finding the place. Thank god Steven has a Navman to help us out although I do remember a trip to Sydney when it told us to turn left.....in the middle of nowhere

SO.......any of you other ugly buggers going to drop in and have a sherbet with Ned,Steve and me, I am sure some of you live pretty close by, I think we are camping in Bachus Marsh.....c'mon you slackers, don't be shy :P

It's times like these I wish I had an Ausvarminters T-Shirt or something, I guess a sticker on the loading tool box will have to do :D
