Blackpete's comments on publicity are right on the money, it's amazing how positive publicity lifts a sport's profile, especially one like ours.
Years back I was used as a TV publicity bunny on the old Cairns Pistol Club range for a State IPSC match. Good coverage, and positive responses, until the TV channel plastered my pics all over the screen immediately after a bank robbery some time later... Glad I didn't live in Cairns, but I still copped some 'feedback' from mates...
As several good folk (only good folk shoot, don't we?) have said, lets keep it simple...
