Alex wheeler and tom mousel have really good input on chronographs on accurateshooter.com

For me, strap the magnetospeed on and go, but if I was buying a new chrony now, a labradar would be way out in front as my first choice. MS3 is accurate, but effects POI and possibly group size and shape. I only use it now to find average velocity. Just got my new 7SAUM running sweet around 2950fps and around 50mm vertical without working on seating depth or adjusting tuner. Tuning at the distance you plan to shoot at has merit I think!
