Post by Aussie_bob »

John Radford.
Yes some of you may know him from centerfire shooting he is in his seventies.
Well last weekend in France at the World Championships of what we call IRB Yes Rimfire Bench-rest.
He and the other 8 shooters from Australia did us proud. Not only did they get Gold & Bronze in the team event they then went on to get Gold and Silver in the individual events.
John Along with Robin Cox and Jaegen Peet Took out Gold with our other teams coming 3rd and 4thThe B team setting a world record for highest team score on a single day 2241 with 130X count.
Then John set a world record card of 250.21 With fellow Aussie John Padswald shooting 250.20 Radford went on to win first day with (750.55WR)
Then the second day of individuals he went on to break that with 750.59 so scoreing 1500.114 also a world record.

Outstanding results from our Aussie shooters. Well done fellas. :D

On a sour note, will any of our so-called mainstream media give these blokes the accolades they rightly deserve. I somehow don't think so. Unfortunately
