2014 N-D 1000yd BR match dates

N-D regular club 1000yd BR matches will be held on the following sundays.

9th February, 6th April, 1st June, 3rd August, 28th September, 23rd November.

depending on light and visibility, sighting from roughly 8.30am - 9am, prior to match.

1000yd F class and target Rifle events are held on the saturday prior to the 1000yd BR events.

as usual, classes of LRBR include International (blind) HG,LG and JC trophy (308/223) and Standard (marked target) HG,LG and JC trophy (308/223).

Note- As the Australian 1000yd BR rules are not suitable or recognised for International competition, IBS rules are followed for the International categories of competition.

Similarly, N-D commonsense rules are applied for the Standard 1000yd BR categories. Competitors may use their 10kg Fclass rifles/bipod in the LG Std class.

Muzzle brakes are permitted in all classes.

The 2014 SCC will run from thursday 26th June friday 27th June - sighting/tuning days with the SCC (4 target match) held over the saturday and sunday 28th-29th June.

Hi dave , Thanks for your efforts in promoting 1000yd BR in OZ.. Hope to finally return to shooting this year , havn't fired a shot since NOV 2012 so will be a little rusty starting off .. I have 2 new barrels ,2500 projectiles, 12 kg of powder, 1000s of primers and a proven gun so now just getting time is all i need .. Thanks also for helping track down the missing prizes from Vortex after TZ and i won the International series on the AUST side of things for 2012 .. The prizes are here after 12 months of being lost and still in prefect condition .. Would not have been found except for you never giving up on tracking them down .. Onya mate..JR.. Jeff Rogers

2 inches + of rain saw today's N-D 1000yd BR match cancelled.

the SCC results will now also suffice as our (N-D members) 2nd Postal results.
