Nosler brass

Post by woob614271 »

I'm thinking (yep, bloody near impossible, ay?) of trying Nosler 'match' brass in my 22.250 AI.
Has anyone had any experience with this brass in this or any other caliber?

woob,

A mate bought 100 of the 30.06 and has now thrown it in the back of the cupboard. He reckons its shit for the price.

22-250 Remington used to be ok have you tried it ??

HiWall has a 22-250AI check what he's using.

cheers

Thanks, Rinso; so far all I've used is batched and partially match-prepped Remmy brass; it's been ok so far...

I have tried it in my 22/250,I cant load as hot with the nosler as the primer pockets expand quicker than the same loads developed in pmc brass.Plus it's way over priced to me.

I am using Winchester, doing the normal prep and fireforming. Seems to work fine, not losing any cases when forming and get good case life.

I have heard the Nosler brass is expensive and overrated. If you must pay that much for brass, buy Norma.

I like and use Remington brass.

G'day All
I have only used remmy brass in my .204 and have achieved great results, but just recently i purchased 50 cases of nosler brass and plan to load them this friday.I thought what the hell if I dont have a good run with them I wont buy them again.!!!!
I will let you know how they go after this sunday.
