Another weekend shooting

Spent all this weekend shooting after being at the missathon the previous weekend with the kids.
A little bit different though, shot the NSW ISSF pistol championships.
Might have to give shooting away, TYB had a lucky shot last weekend and rolled a rabbit at 668y but even his 375y headshot was better than anything I managed for the weekend.
This weekend he came home with 2 silver medals, the wife managed a bronze, while my best effort was mid pack, thankfully my daughter decided not to compete or I probably would have had another one showing me up.

Looks like I'll be relegated to ammo loading and testing.

Got to say you don't seem to meet better people than you do through shooting.
There were a few past and present Aus representatives shooting, something like 20 Commonwealth Games, a dozen Olympics, and who knows how many world cups etc between them. If you wanted advice all you had to do was ask, they were more than willing to help out, it didn't matter if you were just starting out or looking to break one of their records they would do what they could to help you along.

If the missus and kids do well enough, that'd be sort of be cool all by itself.

They could have "Ammo by Sean" stickers on their gun cases!
