Sign of the times!

Post by a.JR »

Hi all , I notice with interest that the new World Record for 10 shot Light Guns at 1000yds was shot by Scott Weber at Williamsport just recently .. Specs are Bat action , Master class stock, Broughton barrel , Mark King brake , Mark King gunsmith , 6BR Dasher cartridge , And surprise surprise it was a 8.5x25 Leupold .. He shot in one match a 3.746in (10 shotter)with 99.1x and a 4.007 (10 Shotter) with 100.6 .. Now that's a 3.876ins agg with a 99.5 score agg and all with a max of 25 times magnification .. JR.. Jeff Rogers.. at least now there is somebody else that thinks that high mag scopes are not essential for LRBR

The way people ignore them around here you'd be forgiven if you thought the factory had burnt down

but there's still a few kicking around.... :D

Edit: I willl add that 0.4moa at 1k is extraordinary, also someone on here averaging 0.7moa too, as I guess grouping is not linear as the degree of difficulty increases with distance.

That is an outstanding achievement.

There is something somewhat familiar about the butt of that stock. Now, where have i seen that before?
