TSVs 2ND 1000 YD Match 2007

Hi all , 2nd match for '07 today was a ripper for a change.. BOB N shot 2 new club records , a day agg score of 97.1 and a day agg group of 4.97 ins .. The 97.1 is the new small mark for AUS as well,awesome ,congrats BOB.. Tony Z in Heavy beat me to a pulp with a PB of 5.93ins group agg and a 194.6 score agg.. Eric the G man in L/G shot small group of 3.57ins and a HS of 50.1.. Club 4 match agg is BOB N at an average of 5.25ins and a score average of 46.25 in L/G and in Heavy it's TZ with an average 95.75 and in group it's JR at 6.44ins ..Next chance is the big match in July..JR..Jeff Rogers..PS.. there was not one custom action from the USof A at all in any one of the winning rifles today ,all Remchesters or back yard specials ,yep 1000yd is alive and well..

The boys with the 7 mils are really starting to get on top of the 168 SMKs with Eric putting down another 3 incher. Somehow i think it may have been an error on my part selling that gun. Bobs not far away with his first 4 inch group. Alan N is doing great for the limited time spent behind a bench gun and he will certainly give the boys something to worry about in the near future.

Ahh, it's good to shoot on your home range, while I still shot like a drunk'in sailor i was able to shave a few inches off those horrible Brisbane groups as we all did, granted the conditions were pretty good, but i still think theres nothing like that home town advantage.

Again it was a plesure to be in the company of excilent shooters and i think the north will soon dominate long range shooting (what about some figures Jr). I bet thats got the southerners stired up, what do you recon all you southern guys, come up here for the Iron Man weekend and put us in our place, the challenge is there.
