G"Day,
Well done to the shooters at the top,Looks like conditions were favourable.
Some excellent group shooting from Ashley again I see.
Numbers looked down,11 seniors and 4 juniors.??
Maybe next year dont have it clash with the State IRB shoot.

Ashley shot extremly well all weekend, once he gets a handle on the 200m fly I am sure he will be hard to beat at that to.

The shoot is always going to clash with something that is the nature of shooting.

We have decided that we will run on the June long weekend as most other events seem to shift year to year depending on who is going to host the event.

We have a choice of June or October any summer month in Narrandera / Leeton makes shooting outdoors pretty much unbearable (I just hate shooting outdoors in 40+ heat)

BUT Festa and I would love feedback as to what weekend is best as we want to attract as many shooters as possible, so all those out there that are interested in a great weekend of shooting let us know which of the weekends above would fit better.

Jugs,

Not being negative but in the group shoot you aren't working on MOA just group size is that correct.

Juggs,

Hey mate hows things?
Sounds like a good time had by all. Then again thats been the case at every shoot I have attended their anyway, so nothing new in that.
As far as dates go I would suggest October long weekend as it will generally be a bit warmer than June.
That said what the majority prefer is the best result.

Well what a fantastic weekend of shooting thank you Chris,Jaegen,Shane and those behind the scenes,I went to Narrandera with high expectations of myself and that it would be a great weekend......................................On the expectation front I let myself down as far as results went but the people I met and trigger time was more than I imagined and made it a very enjoyable weekend. It was good to finally put some faces to names and Ashley and myself were made to feel very welcome by you all,we both agreed that it was slightly cold at times :) and laughed at the fact we didn't know that there was only 3x sighters in the fly...................................until told just prior to starting.
We will definately be back next time................................................and who ever said that the steaks were good was right,I also can say that the 1st & 2nd of October are the NSW state RF group titles at Silverdale.
I only managed a 3rd in the fly..........................and 3x hits on the fly and dragged my team mate down to a 3rd in the teams event....................................................................................................Oh I also won the lucky door prize.....................
......................................................

.........a stock!!!!!!!! :D .
Once again thank you to everyone for making us feel welcome and also for great weekend.

Regards Chris.

Had a great time at Narrandera, as always. Learnt a lot re rimfire matches, and always great to catch up with old friends. It was good to meet Chris and Shane from Kempsey. Many many thanks to festa and his wife for the accommodation again. It was a full on weekend and enjoyed by all. I didn't hear a negative comment all weekend. Tops, congratulations to Chris N, Shane C, Jugsy and the Narrandera shooters for another well run weekend. keep them coming, guys
cheers

Guys

The group results are averaged back to 50m.

To get a MOA agg I would have had to work out the fudge factor for m to MOA and to be honest I was putting the results sheet together as I shot and scored so that was the best at the time.

Next time will have more time to sort out the results sheets.

I am glad that those who shot had a good weekend, and please keep the feedback coming as we want to make it a regular thing.

To all that are interested

I have converted the group results to MOA agg as per the rule book.

Obviously it doesn't change the standings which is used for the weekend result but does give the ability to compare to othr RF group shoots.
