As can be seen in their results, moving from the Quantico marine base to the new venue in West virginia has not hindered or been detrimental to the standard of 1000yd BR shooting being achieved by the Virginia club members.
a total of 7 "screamers" were shot during their last competiton.
The 3rd International 1000yd Postal match of 2010 is scheduled for events held in Australia during July.
Let's hope the weather is friendly and that TZ has ample supplies of "those" 6mm projectiles and continues to "baby" his 6mmBR.
cheers

This next postal should hopefully see some good results from both sides of the ocean. JR looks like he has settled on a load for this new barrel to try and cut the vertical. Bob Luther is finally getting on top of the 300WSM and 210s and his last testing session at the 550 match looked very impressive with all his groups very flat for elevation but just showing more trigger time behind the flags needed to pull in the weather report.
This is great stuff Dave and all concerned should be commended on a fine job. It will be great to see SA come online with this sometime soon so we can get the numbers up to make this a more even contest. I had all but given up on 1K as numbers were stale Aus wide, but now things look completely different and i can only think that this postal has played a big part in it. Well done again guys. Now if only Victoria could get a 1K range up and running Lets bring on the Nationals soon!!
