Re: Dealing With Badlands/Nioa

Good post Spacecadet, like others have said, good service should be talked about, and yes a bit of loyalty grows when your treated well. Nioa has copped a bit of a flogging over the years so nice to hear a positive post.

Re: Quick and dirty range report lithgow crossover.

I'm impressed, the only targets I have seen before these were nothing to write home about. The timber laminate does look nicer than the plastic stock, but still v...

Re: Finished

Agreed mate, I wish they had an internal mag, really would be the best of everything
Just my opinion, but isn't a detachable mag better for a hunting rifle?

Re: I started Another Stock Refinish

The stock I got off Trevort for the CZ looks like it would be real nice if it wasn't for the plastic/epoxy coating.

Re: Polish in new walnut media!

Old story; One of the blokes at the Wagga range (can't remember who) told me how he put brass in the tumbler with a timer one Sunday for 4 or 5 hours. The following Saturday he when to get the brass out of the tumbler and it was as shiny as gold. The tumbler polished his brass for xx hours everyday ...

Re: cleaning equipment

I'd give it a good once over with Sweets7.62 like Mick said and then shoot to your hearts content. My Anschutz, manual stated "to clean rifle push several lightly oiled patches through the barrel" and that is all it said, nothing more. I don't think I've cleaned my Brno for a few thousand ...

Re: Ruger 17hmr with leupy EFR scope

Cross bolt safety, yep I've pulled the hammer back when the pigs break out and click, F#@K , cycle again, click F#@K, the safety's on, the pigs are gone. I just don't like having one up the spout when there's a few of us all getting around on bike's. I like the mag full and the chamber empty ...
