Yep looked in the mirror today and saw a thumb mark on my forehead. I can hear the Rolling Stones in the background as well

I did but it wasn't a rifle it is a Fender American Special Jazz bass guitar and Ampeg amp. Don't think I could get both and still maintain the integrity of my testiclesB4408 wrote:Shout yourself a moving to Adelaide present , you deserve it....Dr G wrote:Awesome, here come the sulks again

Re: Ammo field carry?
I haven't done much deer stalking, those I get I tend to lure onto my dads farm so will have a box of what ever I am using. Hunting goats I always carry too much as the places I go want them gone, zero tolerance, but they are in areas with large numbers of them. Usually I will have 3 in the mag, 9 i...

Re: Engle's - the inner plastic case deteriorating
Don't know for sure as the newest one I have is 10yrs old. If this is the current model then I would have to say yes as it has done close to 400,000km of rough bush tracks out in the elements on the back of the ute. It looks like shit but runs a dream.

Re: Engle's - the inner plastic case deteriorating
There used to be a bloke down in Pennington (Adelaide) who repair Engels for about half what engle want. Not sure if he is still in buisness but he reconditioned a mid 70's model for my brother in law around 1990 it's still working a treat. They are still the best fridge by a country mile. I have on...

Re: Night vision or infared scope?
Elmer Fudd and I use night vision occasionally for problem cats and rabbits when they get in the reserve. Unfortunately what we can get legally here in Aust is shit compared to what is available in th US. It has its uses but not really worth the money imo. We got to play with some high end thermal c...

Redding bushing dies for most things
Simplex for the martini
Lee factory crimp for the 45/70 (redding for the rest of the process).

Re: Buffathon pill 30 cal
Ok so back on topic then, assuming it's still on I was planning on loading 180gn woodleighs in my 06 and having the 45/70 with 405gn rem flat nose (at about 1900fps) as an alternative if it wasn't performing. I have never had a problem with this load on bulls so was assuming it would be fine for Buf...

Re: Zastava Magnum Action question
Expanding a bit on what Jeff said, the newer Model 70's have combined elements of the pre 64 (CRF) and post 64 (PF) to create the new "Model 70 Classic" action. FWIW I reckon that the whole CRF thing is a bit over blown. I think having a slick push feed action that doesn't gall and a singl...
