Re: which is better?

I am also a happy owner of a CZ527, mine is the Sporter in 204.

The mini-mauser action on them is lovely and tight, they shoot like stink and the stock fitted me perfectly.

The bluing is awesome as well.

You just gotta love those Hornady pills, SST's are brilliant projectiles.

So is that Hakko cactus?

Re: Another rap for the Vortex Viper..........

Did you lug that 25/06 round nundle for a couple of days mate? You must have been keen.

I thought that nice CZ 308 of yours would have been more suited.

Re: Primers moving out of case's, 30/30?

Remmington 303 factory ammo does that in my 303, but Highland dosnt...

Something to ponder I guess.

Re: Annie's good to go!!

I just checked my sierra catalogue/reload bench mat and yep, that is a Blitzking projectile.

If it is anything like the 39grn 204 cal version it will be a decent pill.

Re: Only 11 months

That's an ummmmm... errr... interesting choice of laminate colours. Not exactly traditional but I think it would be pretty unique.

You going to use that bad boy off the bags at the range or off the back of a ute?

Re: WW 2 Military Round?

I just trawled through ammo guide and came up with nothing.

Maybe its an old obsolete pistol round from the turn of the century?

Thanks for updating the thread mate, it was very informative.

I am starting to think of starting a project rifle myself, it will be a 22, either an old lithgow or brno.
