My marlin 925R seems to shoot everything that i've tried well, its accuracy
seems totally unrelated to the ammo, most of which could be used in a
mixed lot and still shoot as well as I can.
its freaky.

My howa was great, the lilja barrel on it hasn't really been tested as yet.. the howa isn't the path to go for addons, but as a stock rifle with a new barrel in its future..e go for it, i'd buy the tikka over the rem if i was buying again, or a savage. -Arch read my quick review http://p201.ezboard....

You know what, when my burris 8-32x comes back, I will bolt it on the 6/250 and go out and try some groups at 500m and see if I can shoot that distance, put some ribbons up and things just for shits and giggles, if I can make a show of it (btw whats a decent first timer group for 500m?) I'll give it...

No offense meant to anyone, but a friend told me once that he didn't join club sports because of the 'bullshit' and I'm reading this and thinking 'if I was going to join in this sport, and I read this, I'd be a little put off' I'm just saying, 'guys, you all shoot better than I do, with better gear ...

I found in the 22-250 that at certain loads it was filthy beyond belief, with slightly more pressure it was ok, and in the 6-250 its clean as.. I think you might just want to explore a hotter or colder load, WITHIN SAFE BOUNDS, that might resolve the issue, otherwise you might have to either live wi...

I weigh every load, because i'm a chicken and I don't want the fear of an explosion (not the normal kind) taking my head off, and the slightest fear of this happening will ruin my attempts at good shooting. I find that confidence is a big thing, even varmint shooting.. and as such I just find myself...

I'd use a feature to 'tag' certain topics as 'not of interest' so they don't show up as having 'new' postings in the topic.. for example if someone posts 'please look at my ass' and i decide I don't care if anyone replies, it would be nice to tag the topic so that it doesnt bother telling me in the ...
