Sorry that XP100 is $1750. I either read it incorrectly or it's a typo that's been fixed.

There is a very nice Remington XP100 in .223 on usedguns.com.au at the moment. I think it was going for $750 with a laminated thumbhole stock.

Yep I would agree with that. I reload for my 6BR and they have proved to be pretty accurate so if I can do it then anyone can learn. I have the Redding Competition set of dies with the micrometer adjustments. They are very good dies. I also bought the comparator and the Sinclair OAL guage. Gotta lov...

They are great scopes. I now have my NXS in the Nightforce ultralight rings and 20 MOA mounts. It is really working well in this set up.

Thanks Macca. I have put my NXS on my Remmy 6BR which should be a ball tearer under the spotlight with the 70 grain NBT and the 12-42 would be good on my Stiller.

That's a fantastic effort there Vicfox, congrats to your daughter. I used to shoot smallbore and that is a fair effort to get a score like that.

The 4-20x50mm would be good on a varmint rifle. Such a big mark up now by the time they are here in Oz though. For $1000, you can get a second hand Nightforce NF series on usedguns at the moment.

For $650 its probably worth buying. Its a CZ with a stainless varmint barrel and you won't get a better deal than that. Depends also on how long you want to look around.
